2024 Ukee Greenland Weekend

This 3nd annual event is put on by Manke Kayak. We've changed the dates to earlier in the summer offering better weather and sea conditions for learning. We will yet again have special guest Eiichi Ito come from Japan to visit Canada's beautiful West Coast for this unique 3 day event. This will be a refined weekend with ONLY 36 students. For this camp out weekend you will want to bring a tent with your camping gear. Camping sites have been booked for the duration of this event. RVs/trailers can be accommodated however be aware that the sites are un-serviced.

We will have a number of other talented instructors join us this year!

Event Date: July 5th - 8th, 2024 (Friday evening to Monday afternoon)

Location: Ucluelet Campground, Ucluelet, BC

Cost per student: $525 CAD plus taxes (Max 36 Students)

Meals are not included. Please bring your own meals or arrange to share with participants you know who are coming. 

3 nights of camping are included in the cost of your registration. Note that the campground group area is un-serviced (no power) however we have waterfront this year which newly landscaped grounds! There are hot showers and washrooms close to the group site as well as dish washing stations.

• Group coastal paddle on the final day

This event will be officially associated with the 2024 Stay Salty World Tour as one of 8 countries. Both Eiichi Ito and James Manke will be teaching at the Ukee Greenland Weekend as Stay Salty Canada.
