For over 15 years, James has travelled the globe sharing his expertise in kayak rolling, surfing, and rough-water paddle skills. A passionate paddler and member of The Hurricane Riders, James thrives in the excitement of rough water. As a former International Kayak Rolling Champion, he brings unmatched skill and dedication to his teaching, helping paddlers transform fear and anxiety into confidence and empowerment.
Primarily a Greenland-style paddler, James embraces challenges—once tackling the Grand Canyon in a sea kayak with a traditional Greenland paddle. Whether teaching advanced rolling techniques or inspiring others to explore their limits, James’s love for the water is infectious.
